Career Center UC Berkeley
The Career Center website of UC Berkeley lists current job offers and job fairs, gives advice for resume and cover letter creation, and provides many other resources. Please note that the Career Center resources are currently only available to postdocs, visiting scholars, and visiting student researchers. Please contact the VSPA office for questions.

Career Counseling at the Berkeley City Library
The Berkeley City Library offers regular drop-in career counseling for free. Please contact your local branch for updated career counseling times.

Versatile PhD
Versatile PhD is a web-based resource that can help demystify non-academic careers and reveal a range of professions that utilize the skills you are developing as a postdoc or while in graduate school. You can use Versatile PhD anytime, from any computer, confidentially. You can find both academia and non-academia jobs as well as online bulletin boards where members can discuss their career paths. Because you are a VSPA affiliate at the University of California, Berkeley, you get access to the Premium Content Area where those high-quality written materials are stored. Please note that this resource requires a UC Berkeley CalNet login to use.

Job Forum Chamber of Commerce San Francisco
The Job Forum aims to help people help themselves in their job search. Their approach is on intelligently planning and conducting the job finding campaign. They offer customized brainstorming and problem solving to job seekers every Wednesday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, 235 Montgomery Street, 12 Floor, San Francisco.
